About this project

Anambra State has made significant strides in enhancing public safety and infrastructure through the installation of solar-powered streetlights. As part of a broader initiative, Governor Chukwuma Soludo's administration has installed approximately 70,000 solar-powered streetlights across the state. This effort aims to replace older diesel-powered streetlights, promoting sustainable energy solutions and improving nighttime visibility in communities. These installations not only contribute to environmental sustainability but also enhance public safety by reducing crime rates in poorly lit areas.
