About this project
The Anambra State Government, led by Governor Charles Soludo, is making significant strides in healthcare by incorporating telemedicine to improve accessibility for residents. This initiative is part of a sector-wide approach designed to enhance healthcare delivery using innovative technology. Anambra’s telemedicine program aims to connect remote communities with healthcare professionals, ensuring that even residents in underserved areas have access to medical consultations and essential health services. With plans to integrate telemedicine hubs across 400-500 primary health centers, the project will use data-sharing platforms and digital tools to facilitate real-time patient care, especially in areas lacking sufficient medical personnel and infrastructure. This system allows the government to effectively address healthcare disparities, providing patients with timely diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-ups via remote consultations
